Hawaiian Gala Shatters a Record!

We are truly touched by the incredible generosity shown towards the Treasure Chest Foundation during our 12th Annual Gala. Thanks to your help, we raised approximately $30,000 more than any of our previous Galas, with a gross profit of over $100,000! Whether you attended, made monetary donations or contributed items for our raffles and auction, we are immensely grateful for your support. Thanks to all of you, the Gala was a resounding success!

Our night started with drinks and perusing our many, many raffle baskets. Dinner kicked off with our amazing emcee Brhett Vickery welcoming all of our guests. We were entertained by the hypnotic dancing of Barefoot Hawaiian, teared up over details of the Foundation’s history and heard the story of our adorable Honorary Chairperson Isla Dorsey, all while enjoying our delicious dinner. As the night progressed we surprised and paid tribute to our founder, Colleen Kisel, with a lifetime achievement award and honored our fantastic volunteers of the year, Dawn Butler and Liz Pritchard, for their dedication to the Foundation. The first round of dancing began with the rocking tunes of the ever-groovy Blooze Brothers. Guests danced to their hearts’ content, until auctioneer Stephanie Heckman began our live auction. We waited with bated breath as bidding wars broke out over the many amazing lots. Finally, the Blooze Brothers serenaded us as we closed out a night that will go down in Treasure Chest Foundation history as one to be remembered.

We want to give a special thank you to Old National Bank and 1834 Wealth Management Services, a Division of Old National Bank, for sponsoring our event. We also want to thank Hawk Ford, the Denning Charitable Trust, the Ponczak Family Trust, the Staff and Volunteers of the Treasure Chest Foundation, Stuart Hale Company, Tommy’s Car Wash, the Frankfort Lions Club and Sabella and Graham for providing additional sponsorship support.

The Frankfort Lions Club and their amazing volunteers deserve an extra thank you for helping to set up the event and ensuring it ran smoothly. Your time and willingness to serve is appreciated. From the bottom of our hearts, thank you!
