Treasure Chest Programs

There have been Treasure Chest openings
at 69 locations, serving thousands of young
cancer patients each month across the nation!

Our Mission

To provide comfort and distraction from
painful procedures to children and teens
who have been diagnosed with cancer, by
providing gifts from a Treasure Chest.

Our History

Colleen Kisel’s son, Martin, was diagnosed with
cancer in 1993. After discovering the calming effect
a toy had after a procedure, she aimed to share
feeling with other children fighting cancer.

Our Families

Unfortunately, too many parents hear the words “your child has cancer.” Over the years, we’ve been able to have a glimpse into how the Treasure Chest Foundation has made a difference in the lives of those it touches.

Hear all about the history and the current impact of the Treasure Chest Foundation.

Follow Isla's journey through cancer and learn how having the Treasure Chest Foundation in her life was
a blessing to her and her whole family.
