Newest Treasure Chest Now Open in Charlotte, NC

Because our mission is to provide comfort and distraction from painful procedures to children and teens who have been diagnosed with cancer, each opening of a new Treasure Chest program is cause for major celebration. November 3 was such an occasion with the grand opening of the Pediatric Oncology Treasure Chest Foundation's 37th Treasure Chest program at the Presbyterian Blume Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Clinic in Charlotte, North Carolina. This Treasure Chest was established in honor of Larry Howard of Freedom Title Corporation, Rolling Meadows, IL. The Charlotte program enables children and teenagers undergoing cancer treatment in North Carolina to visit one of our treasure boxes, adding the twelfth state to our program.

With each new Treasure Chest opening, we pause to reflect on the phenomenal growth our Foundation has experienced since our humble beginnings 12 years ago. Today we can proudly point to our 37 locations across 12 states nationwide and know that thanks to your generous support, more than 6,900 children and teens are being comforted each month as they endure the hardships of cancer treatment.

We hope that you will take a moment from your busy schedule to join us in celebrating our latest Treasure Chest opening. We are extremely grateful for your tremendous support in our never-ending campaign to bring joy and smiles to kids fighting cancer.

Thanks for helping to make our dream a reality, for the children and families in Charlotte, North Carolina and for all future Treasure Chest locations.
