Lemonade out of Lemons
The Genis Family of Frankfort sponsored a lemonade and cup cake sale that raised more than $2000.00 for The Treasure Chest Foundation. On Saturday, May 15th, 2010 friends, family and neighbors purchased 100's of cupcakes and cups of lemonade to help support children and teens fighting cancer. The inspiration for the Genis Family Lemonade and Cupcake Stand began after Shelly Genis's four-year-old son Jack received gifts from the Treasure Chest Foundation. Shelly Genis said "We were delighted and touched by the amount of people that came out to support Jack's cupcake and lemonade stand. We received donations of cups, lemonade and hundreds of cupcakes."
